True to its name the flower buds of this Gardenia tend to resist late spring frosts without any damage. This Gardenia can be planted in the landscape as an accent， specimen， medium hedge or foundation and should be planted close to walkways or outdoor living areas to enjoy its sweet aroma. When planting this Gardenia， dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil， then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level
