Spring Sonata (Raphiolepis) Indian Hawthorn is part of the Southern Living Plant Collection. It produces mass clusters of showy white flowers in Spring followed by dark purple fruit which last through Winter. The foliage is a glossy green and requires little pruning. When planting this shrub， dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil， then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow-release granular fertilizer in Spring. Not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
